One of the most interesting names in this year's arrangement of the Swedish Melodifestival is Rigo & the Topaz Sound feat Red Fox.

Rigo & the Topaz Sound front the 50 century fragrant I Got U together with the Jamaican reggae and dancehall veteran Red Fox.

A joyful song that brings sunshine even to the most rainy winter day.

The charismatic entrepreneur Rigo is probably best known as one of the two front figures in the Infinite Mass. When they have a pause, he has his own group, club oriented Crossfire, performs live as the singer with Teddybears and has a solo career.

The debut album, Soundclash, was released in spring 2006 and now, three years later, it’s time for his second, still untitled, solo album. An album where I Got You will be the first smash hit single.

I Got U is written by Rigo together with Tobias Karlsson, who produced Infinite Mass successful album 1991.
- I did the groundwork for the song in Los Angeles with Tobias Karlsson. Then we came up with the idea that the song should be great with Red Fox on it. We did not quite know what to do with the song - it didn’t really fit into anything I was doing at that time - but I let the song be until I got the idea to send it to Melodifstivalen.

The charming Rigo is known as an incurable optimist, and belongs to the Swedish’s hip hop real pioneers. Since the early 90s, he has been one of its key figures, both as an artist, DJ, producer and part of the production company Topaz.

Infinite Mass was founded as a collective consisting of members from Rinkeby, Skärholmen and Södermalm. They began on the underground level, but soon grew into a force to be reckoned with. Together with The Latin Kings, with which they collaborated, they became the ones that set standard in the Swedish hip hop scene.

Infinite Mass has played everything from sampled-based hip-hop with programming to guitar-based rock music with a live set-up. They were also among the first in their generation of musicians to let their creative music be influenced by a strong visual thinking.

Like the band's other singer, Amir Chamdin, the constant creative Rigo always thinks in pictures when he writes his songs. He is always open to different genres and many of the new songs have strong influences from the 50-century rock and 60-century pop. We can count on some nice innovative style mixes currently taking place in a suitable chaotic studio in Solna.

Rigos second album is made in collaboration with Robert Watz, formerly known as one half of Rob ‘N' Raz and Rigo’s brother Cribe Pencheff.

The album is set to be released later this spring.
